This piece was inspired by a famous artwork/self portrait of an artist by the name of Rembrandt. He is known for his paintings and ink portraits. In this project we had to recreate a famous piece of art and I decided to recreate his self portrait of ink. The person I chose to model for me was Emily, hence "Emily in Ink". I used ink and to my surprise a stick. Someone suggested to use a sharpened stick instead of a calligraphy pen and thus "Emily in Ink" was created.
