Anchor Piece

This piece was one our teacher let us choose ourselves. I decided to go into black and white as my media and do an object. I tried to capture highlights and shadows throughout the piece.

Cat Portrait

In this project we were supposed to take human attributes and apply it to an animal or vis versa. Our art was supposed to consist of color and display a sense of realism. I took cat-like features and applied it to a human. It is complete as I did not want to add a body onto the piece.

The Metal Sun

This project focused on the process on metal tooling. I focused on making a sun and a moon as one. My goal was to establish lines for the paint to sink into and the creases in the metal to stand out as indentions.

Simplistic Food

This is my simplistic food drawing. I am entering this into the Dermatology Annual Art Contest. My art usually consists of shading with charcoal pencils, but I decided to just do the initial outline of the objects. My goal here was to incorporate many objects, of food, onto the piece with just the easy outline with a tad bit of detail into each.

The Reflective Lamp

I drew this lamp to portray a wide range of values and a distinct reflection. I am actually pleased with
this piece except I know it could be better.
